In Stern's DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: The Tyrant's Eye Flipper, players are chosen members of the Dragon Shield Guild as they attempt to defeat the Dragon Queen Tiamat, who is hatching a plan to rise again and unleash the War of Dragons, in which Xanathar, Balinor and Sammaster battle for power. Players will experience the game's fantasy world under the glass, merging pinball with the iconic franchise like never before.

Battle Rath the Relentless, the red dragon, the most advanced animatronic mech in pinball that intelligently responds to the player's actions with multi-axis movement and features omni-directional impact detection technology. Voiced by the iconic Michael Dorn, players attempt to defeat Rath the Relentless with pinballs and steal his treasure by hitting the 3-bank target. When Rath the Relentless spits his magnificent fire, several pinballs shoot out of his mouth, but be prepared. Players can activate a metal shield between the flippers that not only fends off attacks, but also helps with shots on the playing field. Enjoy mysterious and exciting features as you navigate hidden passageways, experience an electromagnetically powered gelatinous cube that freezes the flipper, and explore dynamic dungeon levels accessible through a disappearing playfield trap door. Other features include Fizmo's shop where players can purchase unique items, a treasure chest that unleashes mimic monsters, and more secrets to uncover.

Roll the dice with chance as players unlock shots and control the course of the game's campaign through their choices, leading to different story endings. Each path is different for players, ranging from characters to trinkets to weekly items and more; once the game campaign is completed, additional characters are unlocked.
