NEWS - July 2024 - Godzilla 70th Anniversary

To celebrate the platinum anniversary of the world-famous hit movie Godzilla, Stern Pinball is giving one of its most popular pinball models a new colour. The 70th Anniversary Edition of Godzilla! This premium version comes in black and white to match the original film. The Black and White 70th Anniversary Edition has housing decals in perfect shades of grey and the playing field and toys are also in grey. The backglass has its own special artwork to commemorate the special anniversary.

"Godzilla's 70th anniversary is a huge milestone for the venerable franchise," said Seth Davis, President and CEO of Stern Pinball, Inc. "As part of our ongoing partnership with Toho, we are excited to be part of the worldwide celebration by offering all fans a brand new product as well as an expansion of the game code for all Godzilla models."

For all Godzilla pinball fans, Stern has developed an adrenaline-fuelled software update for all existing game models. This promises even more fun and challenge for kaiju fighting. The update now includes a challenge mode with the King of the Monsters. This challenge can be accessed via the Game Mode menu. It offers the same standard mode rules as the original Wizard Mode. A new "High Score To Date" has also been added especially for this mode.
