When Stern Pinball launches a new pinball machine on the market, it is usually released in Pro, Premium and Limited Edition versions.
We would like to explain the difference between these different versions on this page

The Pro version is basically the "original" machine. It is often the benchmark for all variants and, with the lowest entry price of all three versions, offers a great overall package. They promise lots of fun and are suitable for players of all ages. The Pro version often has a slightly faster game, as the ball is not "stopped" as often due to fewer features on the playing field.

The Premium version has the same playing field design as the Limited Edition. It differs from both the LE and the Pro version in the housing artwork. With the Premium pinball machine, noticeable additions (e.g. mechanics, physical ball locks, ramps, mini playfields) and refinements (e.g. figures, targets) are often added to the playing field. These noticeably change both the gameplay and the appearance compared to Pro machines. However, both Premium and Pro promise a lot of fun!
If a lot of gimmicks are important to you and you are prepared to pay the extra price, then the Premium is probably the right choice for you.
The Limited Edition version always includes various extras and upgrades to the Premium model. As standard, you will usually find shakers, inside art blades, an anti-reflective disc and a numbered plaque with the personal LE number that expresses the limited edition. There are also many other extras depending on the pinball machine model (e.g. expression lights in music pinball machines).
The LE versions are usually sold out quickly due to the high demand and the strong limitation. As they are only built once and in limited numbers, they are usually no longer available from pinball dealers within a very short time and have therefore disappeared from the general retail market
